Our cats have moved out of that cute kitten stage where they'll do anything for a bit of attention and into that cat stage where we're chasing them around, trying to get them to pay attention to us. I was really hoping that we'd be able to escape that whole "aloof kitty" thing if we just kept demanding snuggles from them, but apparently it's deeply ingrained in their genetics.
